Oh God, I clearly remember a bunch of us somehow getting in to see this in the old Granada cinema in Kingston. We would have been about 11/12 so they clearly weren't too fussed about age checks.
All I remember after the eager anticipation was that it was really boring - even at that age!
Saw Star Wars for the first time the same year in that same cinema and enjoyed it loads more.
